HOME RESPIRATORY SERVICES

  • Registered Respiratory Therapists, on call 24 hours.
  • Respiratory assessments include:
    a) Eligibility for government funding of Home Oxygen and assistance with appropriate applications.
    b) Sp O2 testing on room air and oxygen with and without activity.
    c) Safety education.
    d) Respiratory medication instruction.
    e) Follow up reports every 3-6 months on long term patients.
  • Arrangements made for clients traveling with oxygen.
  • Prompt response to requests and concerns.
  • Immediate response to Physician request for At Home Oxygen set ups.
  • Aluminum Oxygen Canisters are available, making handling easier than steel tanks used by other companies.
  • Licensed CairCo. staff refill O2 canisters rather than sending them out, passing significant savings on to clients.
CPAP or BiPAP THERAPY
  • Home based testing available to screen clients for Obstructive or Central Sleep Apnea.

AEROSOL THERAPY
  • Portable AC/DC and battery powered Compressors available.
  • Disposable or Reusable Nebulizers.
  • A Nebulizer is a machine that uses compressed air to deliver asthma medicine as wet aerosol, a mist that can be inhaled. Nebulizers are primarily used with children under the age of 5 who are not able to use an inhaler, and patients with severe asthma. People with chronic lung disease including emphysema may also use a Nebulizer. Nebulizers are made up of three main components. Specifically, a cup to hold the medication, a mask or mouthpiece and tubing that connects to the compressor.
